The account page also keeps the in-progress sign-in step (sq_login) in your browser’s session storage while you enter the code, which is cleared when you close the tab.
After you buy on a payment page, that page keeps your licence key, your email and whether you said Squeaky is installed (sq_paid) in your browser’s local storage for 14 days, so a reload still shows your key and the install steps. It never leaves your browser; “Buy again” on that screen removes it.
Checkout
Payment happens on a page run by Stripe. Stripe sets its own cookies there for fraud prevention and to make checkout work. They are described in Stripe’s cookie policy.
Analytics
We measure visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies or any other identifier stored in your browser. See the Privacy Policy.
If this changes
If we ever add cookies that need your consent, this page will list each category and you will be asked before they are set.
